Welcome to the homepage for the Illini Racquetball Club, the premier racquetball organization at the University of Illinois. Our goal is to foster an appreciation of racquetball in all who are interested in playing, and to impart the skills necessary to fully enjoy the game. Our club is open to all men and women with an affiliation to the University of Illinois (students, staff and faculty). Our club employs a challenge ladder format of play, allowing participants to play individuals of similar skill levels. Aside from our weekly practices, we have an active traveling team, bringing us to various venues throughout the Midwest, including colleges and clubs. The club will have an informational meeting on Sunday August 29th from 7-10 pm at the ARC. We are currently looking to reserve the auditorium for an informational meeting before we play, but lookout for an email mid week for updates. We will give a introduction to the officers, the rules of racquetball, and what we are planning this year as a club. After the short talk, the remaining time will be dedicated to getting everyone on the court playing. If you do not have equipment to play, the club will rent racquets as well as goggles and provide racquetballs to play. We are looking forward to this year and hoping for a good showing.
